I have not had a post about the updates of my life for a long time. Thinking that there are a few things that happened that made 2009 a good year, i should let those who read my blog know. Well, as for academic, i did pretty well for the 1st year knowing that i'm just a newbie to the kind of subjects i'm taking. I made some new and good friends during this time, when i felt that things were going rough and everything seemed impossible, they were there for me in the wee hours at night sorting things out. of course the usual suspects, those i've known for 10 years, they are always there for me too and i know that life would not be the same if i didn't get to know them(we were kids when we all met). I miss my friends whom i grew up with in wilkie!!!! i know my fault. I have not met them for almost a year i guess. I will be back. I just came back from melbourne to RnR and visiting family there. It was a good trip indeed except for the h1n1. I came back not infected though. Love?....... i have not felt it in a long time until.....hmmm. But the feeling is really pleasant. I'm a sucker for relationships though because i feel really insecure when things are not really going the way i thought, but it's just me. my weak point. I hope time will tell. Right now, i have nothing much to do except waiting for school to start again. not excited though. I HATE STRESS. when i see this smiley face on my phone, ;-) i go yiPppee.

BUsy busy busy with school lately....o yea i started school, going on the 3rd week. Met good friends and fun to hang out with. I love my company. Preparation for my party was bad cause i didn't have time to plan it...and all thanks to jessie, she helped me order my birthday cake and many things. She really made an impact on me this year. I feel that all these years we were friends it was all worth it. Amelia and jessie bought me 2 rabbits to surprise me for my birthday. rabbits? wow....it was just last year during my birthday, bryan told me that he is having a poolside party at his place for his birthday and told me that i am invited...finally the day has come. His exact birthday is the same as my bro but well he celebrated on 14 june. so happy for you bryan, finally you are legal for most of the things in the world. well, had fun at his party with the usual people there, benny and fred not being normal and drank just two cups of whatever alcohol bryan had... those were days, lucky i was driving or else i would hav been drunk. haha.

well... it was nice seeing old faces again.... managed to get 14 of our guys together for dinner on sat at sushi tei. We joked about army times and after ord-ing for 2 months, everyone is the still almost the same. benny still hooking on gals when we go out for dinner...well it's was fun that night. We wanted to club that night while joel, fred, andrew, leonard still waiting for our ans to go....it was all planned ..because that night almost all did not hav the feel of clubbing so we canceled it.."fred was angry"

So after dinner we went on our separate ways, decided to head down to one degree early. Pretty nice room we had.... ordered room service and had lunch the next day...nothing much though. Tis friday yuhua is leaving for australia, i guess we would all meet up at the airport again..

Singapore Fashion Festival

sorry people who hav been waiting for me to blog cos of pictures and stuff...seriously i hav not gathered all the pics from diff camera during sff.

well, 10 days of fashion is killing me...really. We have to be on standby like 5 hours before each show...and everyday the reporting time seems to be earlier. But i did make alot of friends over there...and people whom i thought that i would not talk to....the fashion world is very bitchy...even us doing backstage and front... gossip and gossip...

we had like stalkers who wants to do fashion fest badly cos they hav been doing like 3 years already...but due to some things that happen during the 10 days.. they were like banned from backstage. But lucky for them they knew someone from the media that could juz bring them in for the show....

Sad to say, this year's festival is kind of boring... i nearly slept during some shows...ashley and qiuhao was nt bad... the one i like the most was francis cheong's show...so glam and diva-esh. As it was my first time doing fashion festival...i had totally no idea wad is happening... lucky for bryan who was with me all the way...although we had some arguements sometimes...but it was all solved. I got to know a fun loving bunch of people consisting of 70. They were the ushers who volunteered for the festival... though i think that they should be paid or something, but they got a certificate from STB so that's nt too bad. Those people from ITE bishan i heart you... hope we get to meet up someday or maybe do fashion fest next year again.

Last day was so much fun...we had a after party after ck show...those invited for the show who stayed longer would enjoy the so called party we had....we had drinks and more drinks...haha...until the bar said no more drinks already and they gave us vitamin orange juice with vodka...yucks!Did i say i knew someone from camp...brandon!! this fellow is damn funny...but so nice... seeing you at fashion festival was no surprise to me...haha.

Back to work after sff... i was asked to do full shift for 5 days....no rest for me...i nearly died...until my manager who took pity on me let me use inet during work time...that's why i hav time to blog now...haha or else who knows when. My clique had some misunderstanding, jac and mennis. I can't believe these words came out of her mouth. she's changed due to her bf i guess....the guy who was nice before but after that night he shouted at my bestie...no good! well., we decided to let it go cos we can't be bothered though...who's childish & inmature now? So i guess the few of us decided to forget the things happen and we went to marina at keppel bay to enjoy. prive. But there was nothing much to drink so we decided to go to tcc for a feast..jessie treat us...thanks gal. had dinner with long time friend eve..more bitching and craps from her... she reminds me of a true Singaporean survivor...being jobless for the time being but still so happy. Having a troubled relationship will never hit her too. nice to have a good talk with her on Thursday night.

Many things happened on the way to KL. we left for KL monday night @1030pm. but first we had take a bus from jb interchange to another interchange to sit the coach bus....juz when everything was so smooth sailing, we took the wrong bus to the wrong interchange...haha and the coach bus we were suppose to take is going to leave like 40 mins...and we didn't know where were we also...so we decided to take our first cab...15rm..we tot it was cheap at first..haha.
we reach the interchange and continued our journey to KL. Finally after 5 hours. we reached KL's interchange... and moved on to our hotel..Ancasa hotel [stay there next time u decide to go Kl cos the view is great] then another thing happened...benny left his phone in the bus...too bad we cannot recover the phone... as we enter the hotel can u believe the hotel is closed? only the side door is open only and we cannot check in until the next morning 12am...we reached KL at 330am we slept in the hotel lobby until 8+ den we went for breakfast.
We stayed very near chinatown where all the bargains were...

We shopped around KL... we went to KLCC to see the twin towers....it was really the only thing malaysia can be proud of...haha.. very nice view during the day and at night...KLcc was full of branded stuffs... not the kind of things i was looking for...i was looking for cheap bargains... and we ate A&W, it was really bringing back memories since we were little.But the standard dropped alot. After shopping inside KLCC, we decided to head out the take pictures of the twin towers, beautiful view. Half the day gone...we went to times square to shop...and saw the indoor theme park...amazing.It was already 9 plus at night...we decided to buy tibits and beer back to the hotel room to enjoy, because we had to wake up at 7am to leave for genting, all of us sleep quite early on our first day.

2nd day:

We headed up to Genting...2 hours journey from KL... nothing much to do over there for those who don't gamble in the casino, so i decided to go retail therapy but bought nothing except for 1 t shirt. haha... can you believe we went to Genting at 730am and our bus back was 6pm? that was how long i waited for them to play finish in the casino. The only thing that was nice was the weather in Genting, it was raining and the wind was blowing...shiok!After coming back from Genting, benny and bingquan went to a salon to dye their hair... it was red and golden brown...omg... when they came back it was like 10pm already...so we got ready to go clubbing...cos it was Wednesday night...ladies night. We went to Zouk@KL, but nothing much there cos they had a event there that night, so we walked down the road and went to Aloha. Just to let you know the club in Singapore cannot compare to the club we went at KL. It was so happening and the music there was great...it was the best clubbing night i went ever, almost everyone shuffles there...even girls. That night there were 2 Malay slutty girls who seduce the crowd with their erotic dancing...haha. Not practiced in Singapore club.

3rd day:

woke up late on the 3rd day cos we went clubbing last night... we woke up at 12pm and took to taxi to lot10 and sungei wang at 0130pm. Nothing much to shop at lot 10 and sungei wang was not my kind of style...headed to BB plaza and saw a shop like those shops in haji lane. Bought 4 t-shirts in the end...soon it was dinner time...we went to the pavilion to shop and have dinner...we had nando's for dinner...again nothing much to buy cos it's too high end already. went back to the hotel to dye benny and pc hair...haha....it's been a long time since i helped someone dye their hair...but not too bad.... after that went down to chinatown again to buy stuffs....yuhua and youyi bought branded watches...haha... close to 12 midnight, all of them except me and jiafu went to bangsar to check out the place...we tot it was a clubbing place but it was like boat quay...a chilling place...so they came back early, just when i was about to sleep. They gambled till quite late...cos it was our last night in KL.

yes i finally ord...haha! i've benn suffering under a damn command but lucky i met my bros and buddies. seeing my pink ic was rather shocking cos those who took who first took their ic and born on the same year as me....our hair all looked the same. haha! centre parting hairstyle. why did i comb that hairtyle last time? shit! did i say i took my ic on friday afternnon?

WE had dinner[teppanyaki] at my place on friday night, we ate until 11 at night cos of some late people den we drove back to sengkang to return benny's car and jessie come and pick us up. We went to pick mennis up also and finally returned to my house at 0130am.Drank and gambled until 4am. Mennis and jessie left and we continued to talk until 5am den we finally sleep. [benny, kelvin and wenyong stayed over] woke up at 0845am to get ready to go to sentosa..super shag.
Met the guys at 10am but we waited for everyone to reach it was already 12. sentosa was damn bad cos of the on off rain and the lousy sun. haha. so we decided to leave early like 4pm. wad's next? we watched rule #1 at vivocity, the one fiona xie is acting in. nt bad show but lousy ending.
shopped around vivo den we decided to call it a day. we are taking a rest on sunday den monday the ord party starts again. We are going to KL/Genting for 4days 3 nights. till then...i'll upload pics when i come back from malaysia.

Went down to aloha loyang on Sunday to celebrate my buddy's 21st birthday... the buffet was not bad and the girls were great too! so xiangjing! haha. The moment our camp mates reached there they started 'earning money' [gambling] the usual routine...let's say they played till next morning at 8...when i woke up...haha..Don't know why since last year when we celebrated all the 21st birthday...the birthday boy will surely get drunk haha...eg. Samuel, Fredrick, youyi, Benny. well, on Sunday xiangjing had his party den the next day we decided to have a super last min bbq...haha. we bought the bbq food at 6 and started bbq at 0730...that's fast. thanks to my marinating skills.

Finally after 10 days of the new year i can go out to friends and relatives place...cos why? my granddad passed away 5 days before Chinese new year..well, i'm glad that he passed away peacefully.

Went to uncle's house on the 16th for a very late steamboat....delicious! stayed there for awhile paiseh...and had to rush down to sengkang (benny's hse) for a gathering and gambling session. haha....you should hav seen how packed his hse was on the 2nd day of new year. [policemen might hav come] i told myself to not to gamble that day but it was too tempting...haha... played 2 rounds 2 round also lose....suay!! stayed at benny's place till 1 plus in the morning.... after that met up with my regular best friends @yishun dam... we chat and joked tat night...when i found out that all of them went to jessie's hse for new year...well, i couldn't go cos my grandfather passed away... so jess cannot invite me...kind of left out...but i must understand... no worries!

After yishun dam... we went down to chomp pang for nasi lemak...don feel like eating cos abit too late liao but in the end i shared with jessie. We stayed out till 4 plus in the morning den we decided to go home....been a long time since i last stayed out till so late....i'm old already..cannot tahan late nights. haha!

The whole company went for this NE tour...to fort canning civil defence heritage and the padang.

why do they hav to keep educating us on this stuff since secondary school? aiyo! kind of boring...

until we went to fort canning .....wow... benny pohchuan and i went crazy inside the museum...took some photos with statues.. haha....sure hoped our other buddy could be around if not for his medical appointment.

sorry for the late update...been very busy and lazy. haha, well, finally we are given our clearance form. so happy. but well i will miss my best buddies in camp...although we only hav the last few meet ups to go out together.... but we hav decided to meet up every first sunday of the month...hope it will happen cos remember the time before we grad from seconday school...we all told each other that we will meet up and all the kind of bullshit...in the end ....how often do we meet up? maybe 3times a year.
ok...alot of things happen in camp...like we are going to ord, we still hav to do all the stupid things. But finally we hav passed down our ops status to alpha and delta company... means when war comes our company will nt be the first ones to be activated. We also had our chinese new year bazzar night and our ORD dinner in camp...that night was the best of all during our 2 years of service...everyone including CO was so on the ball that night...total damages: 10 carton of beer. we partied till 11 plus cos the next morning we hav to run 5km...spoil!

been so busy for xiangen& xue er wedding and melvin& amanda's wedding. so happy for xiangen cos he finally got married after only planning for 1 1/2 months. Finally 2008 is coming...more important things to do in the coming year...going to ord soon, back to school, and hope to be more active in church...(but this church is nt going to last..the pple ...no good!) anyway.......

the 8 brothers who helped xiangen for his wedding...they strike 4d 2nd prize....but too bad i cannot buy....but lucky my brothers treating me eat...good enough already... plans for our genting trip is on the way...we'll be heading up on march 10th i think... well...will miss my best brothers in camp...benny fred and pohchuan. hope to meet up after we ord. cheers.

this week is simply boring...nothing much except on Friday the whole company went to mad jack to hav lunch with the ord personels.haha...! when can i ord?

one after another birthday.....this weekend we celebrated yinglong and bosco's birthday at pasir ris park. most of our camp mates we there....including elben, weiqiang, Clarence and tsu Huang.

have nt seen them ever since they ord. This week was quite busy with range (combat shoot2) M3G and orderly duty on Friday.And shit going outfield on Monday again....at last.... 1st M3G company going to build bridge....maybe cat 1 again...haha!

It's been so long since i last contact Jessie mennis and jac....i wonder how busy are they....well....as time goes by....it's like that....

very tiring day today.

have to wake up very early cos i'm having a lunch treat from Jason and junxiang

thanks to the both of them, 16 of us had a treat at wheelock's fish&co.

the staffs they are very friendly...especially june. haha!

fish&co knowing that it was their birthday,

they gave them cake and staged up a mini celebration in the restaurant.

one of them staff rang the bell to attract people from in and outside the restaurant

haha.....damn funny,

both of them had to stand on the chair near the bar side and even have to blow out

their birthday cake candles from far.

After eating, we went to catch a movie. resident evil: extinction

at night, went down to curtis hse to celebrate his 21st birthday...

not much things happened there....quite bored though.

lucky i have Jason who accompanied me there...

( friday) it was a movie day for us.
We went down to town for some walking session.
headed down to cine for dinner and bought tickets to watch
' Balls of Fury '
while waiting for the show which starts at 0745,
we saw this road show about prison officers...
i pays quite well for us who has done national service...
haha...we even played with the K9 unit dogs....
really damn trained.
